air quality in the cabin
When re-circ is on, I can still smell a lot of exhaust and outside smells. How
can this be avoided? I have driven other cars that do not do this. I have heard
there is an air filter located behind the glove box. Is this truck for all Yukon
Denali 2018 trucks? if so, can I ask the dealership to change it during my oil
change?

Good question! I have same issue which I consider serious. Terrible smell of outside air pollution permeates throughout interior. Setting cabin ventilation setting to recirculating or fresh makes no difference. I am hoping the highest quality after-market cabin air filter will work better. I am having difficulty finding one which I planned to give to my dealership to swap out upon first scheduled maintenance at 7,500 miles.

Sorry. Forgot to answer question. Assuming you have a 2018 Yukon SUV as I do...After much research, there is a cabin air filter behind the glove box even though on some websites it claims there is no cabin air filter in GMC Yukons. You can ignore those that say there is none. And upon researching exactly where cabin filter was located, I found it was surprisingly tedious/difficult for average owner to change out. I doubt the dealership can install anything but a stock air filter so I was going to purchase an upgraded one, and give it to them. The GM Part is 23281440 and the AC Delco Part is CF188. But it is useless to use this same filter, hence I'm looking for some carbon based version. If anyone else has already done this, I would appreciate details and would be great to hear if it worked to actually filter out air pollution.

I have a 2020 yukon and my son used remote to start it snd didn’t think it started so did it like 2 more times. Could this cause fumes inside car? When he got it there was a terrible odor like metal smell or electrical smell
