Radio/Entertainment system ceases to function and won't turn off

This is the second time that this has happened to me.  The first time at
6,000 miles, now again at 18,000.  I don't know what to do - I'm a long way
from any service station.

In addition to ceasing to function
completely, periodically the radio won't turn off.  It regularly tells me my
software is up to date for no particular reason.  I will never purchase another
Subaru.  I got this one from Bloomington Subaru in Minnesota.

I have a 2016 Subaru Outback that the accessories will not turn off when the ignition and engine are off. I feel I have the latest software update. anyone have any ideas? before I could run it for 20 minutes and turn it off and it would be fine, but now that doesn't work.
