I have a 2005 Mazda Tribute and after starting the car yesterday only the high settings of the fan for the heater, defrost, etc. now work. Not sure if it was a fuse that shorted out that caused the lower settings of the fan to not work suddenly. Any ideas of what could cause this? 5 Answers

there are 3 hoses coming off the top of the air intake system on top of the engine. The one closest to the drivers side sucks its self almost all the way closed when you start the engine.
