Wipers only work on high. Will not shut off until vehicle is shut off.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The wipers only work when switched to high. Then they will not shut off until
ignition is shut off. They will then automatically park themselves. The washer
cycle works fine.

Got to be the switch on column wouldn't you think? Where you turn them on...
I've replaced entire switch assembly and wiper motor. No change

then I would check any grounds , small possibility that one of the new parts are bad
Check the relay in the under hood relay junction box...
Has this ever been resolved? I'm having the exact same issue.
I was told by ford dealer that is was in the GEM (General Equipment Module). That it would have to be replaced and ECM reprogrammed. They weren't positive about that though. Maybe an auto electronics genius will see this post one day and actually come close to answering it. rfnance@yahoo.com if you ever find a solid answer. Thanks

Did you ever get this problem fixed? We have it on a 2018 F350 SD with the 6.7L. Wipers don't come on except in high. My son has the truck and has replaced a 30amp fuse but that didnt help. Thoughts? Thx
