Your speedometer is controlled by your PCM/EBCM. It takes the information from the WSS( wheel speed sensors) and then tells your instrument cluster how fast you are going. There is a Turbine shaft speed sensor that controls the output of the PTU(power transfer unit), it is an AWD thing. If you are not getting a reading on how fast you are going, you will be replacing a Cluster, or a GEM(general electronic module).
