It turns over but won’t start

I have a 2006 Ford Mustang gt. It turns over
but won’t start then the battery goes dead. I
had jumping cables on it but it still doing the
same thing

you need to know if it is getting fuel and spark. you should be able to hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the key to the on position without starting. if you cant, then check your fuses and relays associated with the fuel system. Also, you can spray a little carb and choke cleaner in the intake while it is turning over. if it fires then that is a pretty good indicator that you have spark but no fuel. a cheapo spark tester you put inline with the plug wire can tell you if there is spark.
