Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I just changed my oil and since buying it almost 3 years ago its always
had white exhaust on start up and drives fine. 2 weekends ago it  started
making a noise an acting funny after driving for awhile. the oil light isnt
coming on and no leaks on the ground; I put some oil in it and then last
tuesday it got worse and wanted to shut down, I put oil in but its now a
bigger problem. I dont know how bad its going to be to fix or just get rid of
the car, has 214000 kms on it.

A wire got hot when your fuel pump went out, because it pulled more amps then normal and melted wire somewhere. I am going through that myself
