no power to radio

okay i brought a 98 ford explorer 4 months ago the radio hasn't worked sense I bought it. I have checked fuses and took it out to check to see if connected to cords. I have nothing no power what so ever. need help

From what I have seen you need to disassemble the radio and re solder the electric panel. You can find more details on u tube.

I will assume that the radio has NEVER worked after the car was sold to you. Ordinarily, I would suggest you purchase a replacement head unit but you said that is is not GETTING any power. This indicates the problem lies between the radio and the power source (fuse panel). Since you say your fuses are good and the harness is connected to the radio, I would be looking for a break in the power wire or, if there are any splices in it, reconnect the splices. Measure the voltage at the inbound connector to the radio and see if you have 12V or zero. 12V tells you the radio is probably dead.
