fresh air fan/airconditioner

Airconditioner wont work/fresh air fan wont turn on in first 3 positions will work on the highest setting (4) Air conditioner light will come on but because of fan air con wont work . When fan is switch to high air conditioner light goes off.
I have replaced the switch. checked fuses and relays all seem og.

I will answer my own question. In behind the glove box attached by 2 screws is a Resister which controls the voltage to the fan motor this is a sealled unit and can not be repaired The above proplem was solved with a replacement Resister. Air conditioner/fan all Ok

may be u need to get thje a/c cleaned . take it to a dealer to get a better look. http://mazdatribute.net/2002-pictures/

Thanks for your reply I have found that the resistor was indead the fault with tha air conditioner, still appreciate you he;p regards Bob
