Car battery

Asked by GuruW7WJ6 May 30, 2018 at 10:28 AM about the 2014 Dodge Dart SXT FWD with Rallye Package

Question type: General

I was leaving this morning for work (5am) and I got in my
car, started it up(everything started just fine). I drove
literally three houses down the street and my car died. I sat
there for a few minutes trying to get it to turn on and it just
had the battery light on the dash displayed.
I waited another 5 minutes or so and then it started up no
issue and I was able to make it to work which is about 30
miles from my house.
I'm just curious for opinions on what could have gone
wrong, like I said it started just fine and then up and died a
couple minutes later.

1 Answer

Car died again today at 2:40pm. Had battery and alternator checked and neither one of those are an issue(both are working perfectly)
