Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Upon starting the vehicle today the engine kept turning but would not fire.  I could not
stop it from doing this. I shut off via the ignition, pulled the starter fuse nothing would
shut it off.  The sound of this was like metal on metal After approx 2 minutes the
engine fired, the metal on metal sound disipated after another minute of so.  Vehicle
ran fine after (drove 1 mile home.  Vehicle will not start at the moments, same starter
fuse blows.  I have found that as the vehicle sits for a period of time it is unlikely it will
blow the fuse.  Can any one help????
