This question is MUCH more complex than can be answered in the space available here. A timing belt replacement is a clearance-crucial job that will require a great deal of knowledge and disassembly on your part. Improperly reassembling the timing belt and components can lead to disaster with regards to massive engine damage caused by improper assembly on the newer interference-style engines. If you are mechanically savvy and have the proper tools, you will want to get detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures in the form of a factory shop manual or Haynes manual, or printout from Alldata or another reputable repair service. If you are not, it is well worth the $500-1000 to pay a mechanic to do this job for you.
