Question type: General

i have hooked up power to the light in the cargo area for a camera, but when
the hatch is closed, the power goes out.  any suggestions to keep the power
connected so the camera is on while driving?

Pick a different power source. Run a wire all the way to the fuse box and choose a circuit that is on when the key is on.
