2018 Hyundai Accent spare tire tool kit

My spare tire tool kit contains a heavy steel bar with a loop at the top and is
heavily threaded at the other end. I have seen pictures of these tool kits on the
internet but have no idea what this tool is used for. There are no descriptions.

I presume it is a tow hook. It would be threaded into the bumper on your vehicle when it has to be towed or transported. There will be an access panel, or small square that is removable, on either the front or rear bumper or both.
