I have a 98 mazda protege my alternator is too but my battery keeps dying every two weeks after I have it charged n it haven't been a month since I bought the battery what could it possibly be

Was the alternator remanufactured? It could de defective? I would have the charging system load tested. You may also have a short in the car, that may be hard to find...
