I have that notch and don't consider it a problem at all. Please explain why you think it's terribly dangerous. As for distracting, that is subjective, I don't find it distracting in the least. It's a relatively very small notch in the brightness field...so what? Maybe the reason no one from the Hyundai dealership is trying to help you solve the problem is because it's not an actual problem.
I am going to arbitration tomorrow Wednesday April 18. This has been a long drawn out process but I determined to follow through. Hyundai will not take my car back for full price. They say there is nothing wrong with headlights and not a safety issue. The dealer will buy the car back but with depreciation of 6,000$ and I do not recover the tax and title so there will be more of a loss to me. arbitration will be a loss to me as well but not as bad. At this point I am not willing to turn the car back I just want to see if arbitration is on my side and agrees that’s there is a problem with the headlights. I was told to bring 2 copies of all my documentation and I have 20 minutes to state my claim. Then Hyundai has 20 min to answer. Of course Hyundai will not be there in person. They will be present by phone. Wish me luck
It took two months and a new general manager to respond to us. We did negotiate another car but not another Tucson. Happy with Hyundai Sport. Wondering how the arbitration turned out
