What happens to a 1997 Mazda Millenia if the timing belt breaks while driving?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I'm not sure if it is the timing belt that broke but the car won't turn over when I try to start
it but everything else comes on (headlights, horn, radio, etc.). How much will it cost to
repair this?

no need to worry, no damage done, just replace the belt, throw a new tensioner bearing on there too~

the car will shut off, and it will be unable to start. do what Judge-Roy said and you should be fine
