I brought my car to a shop for front end work to be done and I do believe that they swapped motors the guy who worked on it had a 2001. My car had a 5.1 in it , and also a salvage title

seeing it was a salvage I'm

Did you just buy this car? If so, did you have it inspected and see a copy of the history from autocheck.com or carfaxbig.com. That's a good place to start to do it yourself.
