There are no bolts holding the seat, it appears that 4 large rivets were used at
the factory and the only way to get the seat out is drill or cut rivet (bolts?).  
Even a local mechanic was perplexed at this set up.  Anyone experience such
a thing or any ideas on how to take out and put back in?  Thanks.

I worked on a Lucerne that only had bolts at the rear. After you remove the rear bolts, the seat tllts forward and the front is in a slot lift the front out of the slot but only after you have removed the rear bolts.

    no power, dead throttle, car will accelerate very slowly up to 80kmh and thats it. revs high when in neutral, but boggy and sluggish when in gear. t.p.s. was changed and it didn't make a difference.
