How to remove a broken alternator bolt on my 1996 Mazda MPV DX
1 Answer
That depends on what and where it's broken. If you mean a sheared bolt, flush in a threaded hole, you need a center punch, a power drill and bit, and an EZ-Out tool. Punch directly in center of bolt, that gets the bit started in the exact middle, use the bit size specified on the EZ-Out package, drill, hammer EZ-Out in hole and turn counter-clockwise to unthread.
