I have a 98 Mustang with a 3.8 liter engine with a
4R70W transmission. I purchased a transmission
from a 95 Mustang (AODE) transmission. Will this
work or did I totally screw up?

Your ECU is not going to work with the AODE. Perhaps you can make this work but you are better off getting a correct transmission.
