Radio wiring harness

Bought a new radio wiring
harness to replace the existing
factory harness but noticed when
it got here the aftermarket
harness says it's for a 2004 and
up model just wondering if it's
safe to go ahead and swap

I would go with what’s on the package. If you need a 1998, get one for a 1998. You probably could use it, but you’ll most likely have to splice wires, which is what you wanted to avoid.

If it plugs in you should be able to use it but it sounds like you got the wrong part.
