Gas Mileage

I just purchased a used 2018 Mazda CX-5. However, I was surprised when I go
to fill the gas, that it only holds about 11.3 gallons of gas. I was expecting it to
be around 14-15 based on what I had researched.

Is this an indication that something is wrong with my vehicle? Or is this normal?

Apparently you stiil had fuel in the tank it should hold 14.8 to 15.3. Check the next couple tankfulls if it still shows the same, you have an issue with fuel tank sending unit and dealer should check under warranty

Don't run the tank lower than you have been as the fuel pump needs gas to cool the pump.
