What would make my 98 ford ranger turn over and
start for 2-3 mins then shuts off and and only turns
over. I replaced coil pack, plugs,ignition
switch,heater coil and fuel filter .its a 6 cylinder 4.0

It sounds like lack of fuel pressure. Check the fuel pump like above advise.
