is there a starter relay on a 1993 mazda navaho?

okay...sounds like you're suffering from an undervoltage condition...what you must do is get a NEW battery and clean the 1/0 battery cable connection from this negative cable to the spot where it attaches on the frame/ground spot...wirebrush the lug...wirebrush the spot to allow at least 300 cold cranking amps through there...you might have the 12 volts but the amperage just ain't gettin' thru this semi-conductor layer of corrosion between the lug and this very important dime sized spot on the chassis ground~

I agree with roy. but I would check all bat connections and the bat its self before i would replace the relay or the solinoid

if its a somewhat loud click it may well be the starter itself, worn brushes or shorted
