Struts/shocks

Usually the same way you do on an american car: very carefully.
as far as i know there arent very many american cars with struts. besides i dont evn know how to change them in general.
Struts attach at the top of the fender inside a pocket and at the bottom to the lower control arm. You take the car in the air to unload the strut and remove the bolts at the bottom and the nut at the top. Now, it gets tricky cause you then take it to a press that usally is made just for this job, where it compresses the spring so that you can take the strut apart and slide it off the spring. The new strut slides in, then you put it together and release the pressure on the coil spring. Then you put it back in the car. Pretty easy if you have the right tools.
thanks a lot. maybe i can finally get my dad to change the shox on the mazda
