Want to install Amp and subwoofer

Asked by Andre Jul 11, 2024 at 10:36 PM about the 2018 Hyundai Tucson 2.0L SEL FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I want to install an amp and subwoofer to
my 2018 Hyundai Tuscan is it possible to
do that and keep the factory radio? If so
how? Also is there an amp already in it
somewhere? Is the alternator and battery
strong enough to push a sundown audio
x?

The car barely powerful enough to push itself down the highway. Now you want to add a power sucking monster sub setup. If you determined to do this I suggest you get a hold of someone who knows something about power demands of the system. You may need to make up a dedicated power supply just for the system, that would include another alternator, battery and all the wiring and controls systems just for the stereo.
