2005 Mercury Mountaineer

Asked by Guru5JWK6 Feb 12, 2018 at 07:36 PM about the 2005 Mercury Mountaineer Convenience AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005  Mercury Mountaineer had been showing
"sevice engine" light for over a year. I dont know
where to take it to get a reasonable price check up
in Wichita, Kans. I've seen on TV where a lot of
name brand places will scam an older woman
especially. My ex always took.care of this vehicle,
so I'm totally at a loss who to trust.

I have a dodge neon and the oil light comes on when I stop and my question is is there a fues for the oil pump

At least have the trouble codes read so that you have a clue. It could just be a loose gas cap.

My check engine light and abs light have been on for years ( I think the engine light is on because I put a glass pack on place of the resignator )
