Is there any way to eliminate the external static in the FM radio

I have owned two "Edges" and the new  2019 seems to gather a lot of static
from power lines etc. The station ai like I not as powerful as some, and
especially in town, I get noise esp. at intersections. Is there any way to filter
that out for better listening?

The signal to noise ratio eventually makes weak stations too noisy to listen too.
