Mechanic has checked all the fuses, relays, computer and ignition switch and

Is your THEFT light blinking rapidly when key in the start position? That is what I am dealing with and it's a bitch

Actually a mechanic found a wire that had shorted out after 4 hrs of work. Checked this, relays, fuses, ignition switch, computer, etc. I was just glad they found it. I did notice several other people had solutions to your problem on here. One was a bad part, others seemed to be how to reset the issue. Also they mentioned that it could be a bad chip in the key (try another key)

seen em all, unfortunately, no help. Turn the key and everything works but theft light blinking. Used to be if ya played with it a bit it would come around. No nothing. But if I jump it then it'll fire right up. Once I turn it off for any period of time it's dead again. Nothing works. Put a portable jump to it and that doesn't work
