2005 mercury sable Ls wont start

My car wont start i replaced the starter but it still
wont work had my battery tested they said it
leaking battery acid but it shouldnt stop the car
from starting all my lights work i tried to jump my
car still wont work i charged the battery no luck
somebody help me please.

I'd say start fresh and get a new battery that does not leak. It's going to continue to be a problem especially in the warmer months. Once you have that give it a try and if you get a no start make sure it's getting gas. If not have a look at the fuel filter. Some of the newer Fords only have a filter sock in the tank but I think you may have an exterior gas filter passenger rear under the car. Good Luck!
