Clicking while slowing down, jeep Cherokee
I have a problem with my 2019 Cherokee, start arrown the
10 000 miles, every time am slowing down can hear like a
"crack", the fist time I thought that was something on the
street but then I notice it was when slow down or start
moving, so took it to the dealership and first I was told it
was something on the back tires, so they change some
parts but the sound still there, I took it back to the
dealership and they told me it was the same problem but
now on the front, but this time start to hear the same sound
not only when I'm slowing down to stop, every time I slow
down for a turn on the street too, so I go back to the dealer
and another part was changed it supposed Chrysler is the
maker of this "special" part, so when I picked up my car the
people of service told me that the "special" part was
replaced and Chrysler said that was "normal." And if I don't
want to hear it just change to sport... if I bought a 4x4 is for
something! Other wise I could buy something else, of
course I wasn't happy at all so I talked with the manager
and he agreed on take another look but this time with a
Chrysler engineer, and the result was the same; he said it
was normal, and it doesn't affect anything. Basically they
know that sound exist, but they don't know why but since
every is apparently ok, there's no reason to worry, so is
normal. Personally I have a lot to said but the first thing is,
how can be normal a sound like that??? Specially if wasn't
there since the beginning, plus if Chrysler knew about it
why they don't said anything to the dealerships "in case"
somebody complain about it? To be honest I don't feel safe
at all specially while driving with my family, I feel like the
breaks are going to fail at any moment or something is
going to break , nobody wants a car that sound like
breaking apart every time is slowing down. So I need to
think about what my options are...
