Can I run two circuits back to negative on one wire?

I am installing some lights on a trailer of mine. I am running two switched
circuits to the trailer, and I am wondering, to save space in the loom, can I run
the two circuits back to neutral using the same wire? Please see the diagram.
The units are fused for 7A total.
