A transponder is what is inserted into the key to be used in the ignition... on your car to program the key fobs, you sit in the car and slowly cycle the key in the ignition from off to on 8 times ending in the on position. When you get to the on position on the 8th cycle the door locks will lock then unlock to indicate that you are in programming mode. Then take all of the key fobs you have for the vehicle and hit any button, the door locks should lock then unlock to confirm each remote is programmed. when finished, turn the key off and test the fob.
