Could I Refinance my car?

Asked by Ronicaa May 19, 2020 at 04:44 AM about the 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid FWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

If I’m already financing a car through a bank,
and I want to trade my car in, is that possible?
How does that work? Because I would like
something different.

Cargurus doesn't sell vehicles or takes trades or finances. Find a dealer car you to work with, and they will help you with the finances.

When you trade in a vehicle that has a lien on it the amount you still owe is added to the amount of the loan for the new vehicle. This makes your car payment higher and you're paying for two vehicles, one of which you no longer have! Unless the vehicle you have is falling apart it's better to keep it until it's paid for. Hope that helps! Jim
