Replaced Master Window switches Drivers side key fob no longer lowers windows

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I got water in my master widow switch on the drivers side so I bought one
online and replaced it. Everything works well except my key fob no longer
lowers all the windows when i hold down unlock? Does the computer need to
be programmed to know the new switch set?

Needs to be initialized.
The automatic up down works fine I did initialize it by winding them all down then holding the switch when I wound each up for a while .
Then the remote needs to be reprogrammed.

The fob is probably ok. Try the window reset cycle again.
I did it all again windows work perfectly. I put a new battery in the fob. The windows will not go down with the fob. any more it's so odd. Maybe the switch module I got is missing something that enables that function. My first thought however is it's a security feature that the switch module must be added to the car security database. I don't know enough about how Infiniti Security works. An if there is a coded message sent to the switch or what happens when you hold down the unlock to put the windows down. I don't mind paying the dealer to program it if I have to but I am also concerned they won't know or I am wrong and have to pay anyway for nothing.
Just explain your issue to the dealer they might be able to talk you through something over the phone.
Thanks all for your help. It turns out this switch is for older G's and does not have the serial data parts needed to enable the cylinder key switch of the key fob. So the issue was me getting the wrong part. I appreciate your effort. I did find the right one for 96$ so still better than 800 at the dealer.:)
I recently replaced my master switch as well to fix the issue. My FOB will roll down all three passenger windows with the unlock button but will not roll down the drivers. Any thoughts on why that would be?
