Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car started acting like it was
stalling like when it would need to
shift (it's automatic) i would have to
let off the gas then push back down.
Then my heat went out. Now it over
heats and I drove it to the gas station
to put anti freeze in it because there
was none and it drove fine but at
stop signs it would keep dying. When
I start it I have to pump the peddle
but every sign it died then it wouldn't
start and the more I tried the less it
would try to turn over. So I had to sit
for like twenty minutes so it would
start and I had to park it in some
random lot over night..

Refill coolant system and do a pressure test on it to locate the coolant leak. That is if it's not a visible leak. Then repair the leak. When you get it back full of coolant you will have heat again. I would also check the oil. Does it look normal or like a milkshake?

Ok that's a good thing. You might have two separate things going on with your car. I would fix the leak in coolant system first. Then if it's still stalling when you come to a stop then I would look into the idle air control valve it could be dirty/faulty. Also a dirty throttle plate will cause it to stall like this.
