Battery terminal getting way to hot

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Replaced battery and connections. Replaced and checked 3 grounding
points. Replaced starter solenoid and voltage from alternator is holding at a
steady 13.9 output with no drop off found. Yet top post positive connection
end still getting hot enough to boil acid out of battery. This only happens when
motor is running. Any Idea as to cause?

you will need to see if there is drop in voltage on the terminal itself. Take a meter on the battery terminal put one lead one there and the other lead on the end on the wire and read the volts...
