I have not seen reports of 2019 cars using oil but it is too soon to tell.

have oil burning smoke on startup.Took to dealer at6000 miles and again at 9000 miles. they are now replacing the motor and turbo on my 2019 Ascent. Dealer also informed me that they have a second car with same smoke problem, but not as bad as mine.Hope they get it right!!!!!

I think the Ascent has a different engine from the one with the oil consumption issues but I could be wrong.

I'm in contact with the dealer regarding my 2019 Ascent, 15K miles, that is starting to smoke when starting. Not a good look when starting a nice car and smoking out everyone in the parking lot.
