Jack up the vehicle on the main mount but leave a little pressure down on the tire so that you can break the lug nuts loose.Once the lug nuts are broken loose jack it up so the tire is off of the ground. Then remove the wheel completely.Next there may be a break line or a stabalizer bar connected to the strut depending on what kind of vehicle you have....which you have to remove. Now there should be 1 or 2 large bolts at the bottom of the strut that need to be broken loose.Take the nut off of the bolt. The next step you will have to put pb blaster on the bolt depending on how rusted it is on pound it out(this can take a while). Then you will take out the 3 nuts that are holding the strut at the top under the hood. Then you should be able to work with the strut and pull it right out
