brakes light

Hi ,,,
for the last few weeks I noticed that the brake light is on ,,,sometimes stay on ,
and some times blinks ...I check the brake fluid ...and still ok.

See if one of your tail lights is out,

I have a 1999 Mercury Villager that keeps shutting off the battery light stays on along with the brake light but it is a brand new battery. I also have a hole in the tail pipe and it aputters and the the car shuts off. I have changed the fuel filter and the starter 2 Answers

changed the battery and went to make sure it would start and the check engine light is on any ideas? disconnected the neg. cable first and hooked it up last. 1 Answer
