high beams turn on right turn signal

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i turn my high beams on it also turns my
right turn lights on, so i am unable to indicate
turning . It turns front, back, and the dash turn
indicater.  If i try in indicate a turn nothing
happens, they just stay lit up as they were.  My
left side works 100% correctly.  If high beams are
off the right side works  correctly.

You need a new multifunction switch. The switch controls high beam, low beam and the turn signals. It may control the emergency flashers as well.

PLEASE REPORT THIS THE VEHICLE SAFETY THING SO WE CAN GET A RECALL ISSUED FOR THE HEADLIGHTS GOING OUT WHEN TURNING ON BLINKERS OR BRIGHT. I called today number is ‭1 (888) 327-4236‬. They will want your vin number, when you first noticed it, email, and approximate mileage when it first occurred. Please do this so we can get it fixed by manufacturer, bc it’s dangerous and can be very expensive.
