98 Mercury sable blower stopped working. Blower motor and fuse were replaced last Friday. The switch has been sticky since and the blower stopped this morning. Connected?

The blower switch was smooth prior to repair. Since blower motor repair the switch has been sticky. The blower motor was replaced last Friday and stopped working this morning. Is this connected to the blower motor repair?

The sticky switch, possibly, don't know what they would have done, but if the blower motor is not working it is usually the blower motor resistor that goes bad.

Replacing the blower motor should have nothing to do with the blower switch since there is no reason to touch the switch at all when replacing the blower. All they would need to do to replace it is disconnect the wires at the blower, change it and plug the wires back in at the connector. Then they would just turn the switch on and to each position to make sure the blower is operating properly.
