i have a 1998 ford ranger xlt 4x4 3.0 it will go into gear but will not move in any gear dont know what i need too do to fine out why

afford to take to get worked on

Check the transmission fliud. It should be a red color. You could also put in an additive. Like Trans-X.

i though it would have something to do with transfer case because it goes into gear but it like its is in no gear
