98 ford tarus transmission line connector

I just replaced the quick connect bolt on the transmission cooler line on my 98 ford taurus.  line snapped right in but is still leaking.  Tried reconneting it several times but still leaks.

Is there an oring on the quick connect? You probably had to replace that.

I replaced the part with a second new part just in case the first was bad out of the box and still leaks

I would be extremely careful with sealants as some may end up in your transmission. I think you should replace both sides of the connection if possible.
