how many and where are all the fuses for 1998 ford taurus brake light

changed the brake switch on brake pedal , fuse under dash looks ok , brake lights still
dont work on rear of car

Check your owners manual. get an owner's manual, google Free Owner's Manual if you lost the one that came with the car

Turn signal/combo switch, The Taurus/Sable,is NOTORIOUS for this fault...

The most common failure for any Ford Brake light concern are the wires at the switch itself. They won't look broken but, typically, one of them is broken internally. Usually, the wires just pull apart at the switch.
