1985 dodge Ramcharger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1985 dodge ramcharger, when I bought it it wasn't running so, i got it
running and was driving it, but when I got up to speed it started to sound like
grinding. so I checked the front diff because thats where i thought it was
coming from but that wasn't it so then I drained the transfer case and replaced
it with a little bit thicker oil. So i drove it again and it was worse so now i think
it's coming from the transmission because it only starts "grinding" when I push
the gas. I think it's a bearing but I'm not sure. So could someone tell me or
explain to me what it might be?
