Question type: Shopping & Pricing
why some dealer low ball prices only to get in front of
the line then add some heavy fees.
have seen as much as over $6000 on a new vehicle
less then35000$ ,its misleading and
dishonest) and other dealers have final prices (no
hidden fees) +taxes and licence ,its
honest and thats where i will buy my car.it makes
shopping for the cheapest vehicle a
hassel.
why dont cargurus demand fair and equal pricing from
all dealers?
thank you

Sorry, This is the repair section of the site, you will need to contact the dealer that is selling the car and question them !
No one will ever advertise cars with all the taxes and fees, no one.
Anyone that has car shopped before should know about fees. The taxes and DMV fees can be looked up on your states DMV website. The BS dealer fees are optional and no one with half a brain pays them.
DIdn't you read the Terms of Use link? That will tell you where Cargurus stands with the dealers.

gar guru does not provide proper safeguards for buyers using this site. Elder Ford in Tampa is prime example of using low ball prices on internet to lure buyers in and then announce their added "dealer prep and handling charges" of $2500 The try to justify this by saying they always provide new wiper blades, deodorizing and sanitizing, thorough cleaning, oil change, wiper fluid, inspection et all. So typical of dealership sharp and deceptive practices. Willl it ever change.! Stan
