Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Almost washing machine like sound when vehicle is
moving. The sound increases speed not volume with
speed of vehicle not speed of engine. Thought it might be
a wheel bearing but there’s no shake or uneven tire wear.
Suspension feels just as tight as ever. Thought maybe a
nail in tire but no shutter even at very high speed. I can’t
feel any pulsating thru brakes or steering wheel. Its
something to due with the rolling of vehicle. Even turned
her off at 40 and in neutral with clutch out and noise still
there so engine and Trans are fine. Turning the radio up
works :)). Ideas??

Check all your tires for a "bump" both on the tread surface and the sidewalls both the inside and outside of the tire sidewalls...a belt may have separated in the tire. Feel all surfaces with your hands, that way you will be sure to feel it if that is the case.

Not the tires, tires have a few thousand miles and they weren’t cheap. Just had the oil changed and everything inspected a few weeks ago. Noise came out of nowhere a week ago. If it was a nail, u should feel it thru the steering. I could run over a quarter and feel it. Maybe my girlfriend ran over a pothole but still it drives straight and true and I took her up to 90mph last night and nothing. I’m gonna have to take it to the shop. I’ll check the lug nuts even though the wheels were just off it during the oil change. I was hoping it was some weird mini/bmw issue someone had experience with.

Had a similar noise that was an internal tire issue.
