Does my 2004 endeavor have positve
traction rear end

TI'm is correct .your Endeavor is actually a front wheel drive vehicle aND technically the rear wheels drive is an addition .the rear end itself is limited slip amd again as Tom said it's traction is controlled by the anti lock braking computer . So for basic information purposes it can be positive if the situation warrants and a very effective Awd design .

If you have traction control the system will apply brakes to the spinning wheel which simulates a posi-traction rear diff but it is not the same thing. If the traction is really poor the car may refuse to proceed which is why some car manufacturers have an off button for the traction control.
